What is Tao?
“Tao” is the name given by Lao Zi, author of Dao De Jing, for the Ultimate Source and Creator of everything that exists. Since all things come from Tao, the essence and qualities of Tao are in everyone and everything. Tao is oneness, and has a quantum field of the highest frequency and vibration, with most-positive information, energy, and matter.
What is Tao Calligraphy?
Developed by Tao Grandmaster, Dr. & Master Sha, Tao Calligraphy is a revolutionary transformative art based on an ancient form of one-stroke calligraphy (Yi Bi Zi) that Master Sha learned from sole lineage holder, Professor Li Qiu Yun. At over 100 years of age, Professor Li passed this unique lineage to Master Sha, who with his life-long training and mastery of ancient philosophies, healing arts, and spiritual practices, developed this special Oneness writing further – bringing the essence, frequency and vibration of Tao Oneness into each calligraphy.
What is Tao Song?
Tao Song is transformative sound frequencies that could support one’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health in deeply profound ways. It has a quantum field that carries Tao Source love, light, frequency, vibration, positive energy, information and matter, which could transform negative energy, information and matter in your life.
When is The Heart of Tao Wellness workshop?
It’s on Sunday, November 26, from 3 - 5 pm ET.
Will it be in-person?
Yes, you can purchase in-person tickets. But do so quickly, as there is limited seating for first come, first served.
Where will The Heart of Tao Wellness take place?
It will be at 918 Bathurst Centre for Culture, Arts, Media and Education, within The Sanctuary space of their establishment.
What time should I arrive?
The doors will open at 2:30 pm ET. Please try to arrive by 2:15 pm ET so that we can complete your check-in process in a timely manner and can get you seated.
What will happen during check-in? Do I need to show you my ticket?
Yes, once you register you will receive the ticket with a QR code in your email. You can either show the QR code on your phone to us during check-in or print it out and bring it with you.
Is there parking?
Yes, there is street parking available around the venue.
What is the closest intersection?
Bloor St W and Bathurst St.
Is it easily accessible by public transportation?
Yes, the Bathurst train station is only a few minutes walk. Several buses and streetcars also can bring you within a short walking distance.
Will there be a coat check available? Is there a dress code?
No, there is no coat check. There is no specific dress code. We encourage you to wear clothing that is comfortable. You could also bring a yoga mat if you wanted to lie down during the meditative or sound healing experiences.
